Welcome to A TEACHER’s CUP (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website (the “Website”) at www.ateacherscup.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website. These Terms apply to all users, including teachers, parents, schools, and other educational professionals accessing our resources and services.

1. About Our Services

A TEACHER’s CUP provides CAPS-aligned educational resources for Grade R-12, including lesson plans, exam papers with memos, summaries, tests, posters, and booklets (e.g., Grade R Math Booklet, Grade 1 Mathematics Remediation Booklet, Grade 3 English Home Language Booklet, Grade 5 Math Enrichment Booklet), as well as Coding & Robotics materials. We also offer SACE-accredited CPDT courses for teachers to earn professional development points. All resources are available in Afrikaans and English, where applicable, and are designed to support South African educators and learners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Website or purchase our resources.

By using our Website, you confirm that you are an educator, parent, or educational professional acting in compliance with South African laws, including the South African Schools Act and the regulations of the South African Council for Educators (SACE).

3. Use of Resources

  • License: Upon purchase or download (including free samples), we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our resources for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only (e.g., classroom teaching, home learning). You may not share, distribute, or resell our resources without our written permission.
  • Free Samples: Free samples (e.g., Grade R Math Booklet, Grade 1 Mathematics Remediation Booklet, Grade 3 English Home Language Booklet, Grade 5 Math Enrichment Booklet, Matric Exam Paper, Coding & Robotics Lesson Plan, Bilingual Summary, Classroom Poster) are provided for evaluation purposes only. You may download them per user for personal use. Redistribution or commercial use of free samples is prohibited.
  • CPDT Courses: Access to SACE-accredited CPDT courses is granted upon payment. You may not share course access or materials with others. Completion certificates for CPDT points are issued only to the registered user.
  • Prohibited Uses: You may not:
    • Modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from our resources without permission.
    • Use our resources for commercial purposes (e.g., selling to others).
    • Share login credentials for CPDT courses with others.
    • Use our resources in a way that violates South African copyright laws or CAPS guidelines.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our Website, including lesson plans, exam papers, summaries, posters, booklets, CPDT course materials, and free samples, is the intellectual property of A TEACHER’s CUP or our licensors and is protected by South African copyright laws (e.g., Copyright Act 98 of 1978).
  • You may not copy, distribute, or use our content for any purpose other than as permitted in these Terms without our prior written consent.
  • The A TEACHER’s CUP name, logo, and branding are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.

5. Payments and Pricing

  • Pricing: All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
  • Payment: We accept payments via PayFast. Payment must be completed before accessing purchased resources or CPDT courses.
  • Free Samples: Free samples require an email address for download. We may use this email to send you promotional offers, which you can opt out of at any time.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Digital Resources: Due to the digital nature of our resources (e.g., lesson plans, exam papers, booklets), all sales are final. Refunds are not available unless the resource is defective (e.g., file won’t open, content is missing), in which case you must contact us within 7 days of purchase at [email protected] for a replacement or refund.
  • CPDT Courses: Refunds for CPDT courses are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not accessed more than 10% of the course content. Requests must be made in writing to [email protected].
  • Free Samples: Free samples are provided at no cost and are not eligible for refunds.

7. User Accounts

  • To access certain features (e.g., CPDT courses, free samples, or purchased resources), you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and not sharing them with others.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, including sharing resources or course access in violation of these Terms.

8. Accuracy of Content

  • We strive to ensure all resources are CAPS-aligned and accurate as of the date of publication. However, we are not responsible for changes to the South African curriculum or errors in content.
  • CPDT courses are SACE-accredited at the time of offering, but it is your responsibility to confirm that the points earned meet your SACE requirements.

9. Privacy

  • We collect personal information (e.g., name, email, payment details) to process orders, provide access to resources, and send promotional emails (if you opt in).   • By downloading a free sample, you agree to provide your email address, which may be used for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability
